Haus am Brunnenbach is situated in the Allgäu Alps of Southern Germany, in the small rural village of Ortwang, lying some 3kms north of Sonthofen, which itself is about 150kms SW of Munich. With easy road and rail access, the village is centrally situated within the Oberallgäu, and is ideally suited to all aspects of outdoor pursuits, and in particular to multi-level Alpine walking, skiing, canoeing and climbing. The area is therefore an excellent choice for all kinds of Duke of Edinburgh’s Award activities - Expeditions, Explorations, Residential weeks or Physical Recreation courses.
